German specialist Joachim Löw has declined to become the head coach of the Uzbekistan national team.
"Report" reports that the "Bild" newspaper has published information about this.
According to the source, negotiations between Löw and representatives of the Uzbekistan Football Association were conducted with the assistance of the country's embassy in Berlin. However, after several days of discussions, the 65-year-old specialist decided to reject the offer.
It should be noted that Joachim Löw's last job was the German national team, which he led from 2006 to 2021. Prior to that, he worked for two years as Jurgen Klinsmann's assistant in the national team. Under his leadership, the team won the World Championship (2014) and the Confederations Cup (2017).
