Former head coach of the German national football team, Joachim Löw, may resume his career.
Idman.biz reports with reference to Championat.Asia that the 65-year-old specialist may coach the Uzbekistan national team.
According to the source, the Uzbekistan Football Association has already started negotiations with Löw. If the German accepts the offer, the current head coach Timur Kapadze will become his assistant.
The Uzbekistan national team will participate in the World Championship for the first time in its history in 2026.
It should be noted that Löw was the head coach of the German national team from 2006 to 2021. Under his leadership, the team won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia. Löw has not worked in any team since 2021.
