Former German national team coach Joachim Löw has announced that he will not be managing the Ghana national team at the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that the Ghana national team announced the dismissal of head coach Otto Addo on March 31.
"Officially, no one from Ghana has contacted me," Sky Sport Germany quotes Löw.
The Ghana national team is preparing to make its fifth appearance in the final stage of the World Cup and is in Group L along with Croatia, England, and Panama. The team will play its first match against Panama on June 17 in Toronto.
Löw coached the German national team from 2006 to 2021. Under his leadership, the team won the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia. He has not coached any team since 2021.
