Former Germany and Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng visited Barcelona's training ground, where he met with head coach Hans-Dieter Flick and the players, including former teammate Robert Lewandowski. Sport24.az reports that the Catalan club's press service announced this on its social media account.
Boateng will train at the club's base for a few days.
It should be noted that some time ago, the media reported that Boateng wanted to train at Bayern, but the fans of the German club opposed this. The reason is the accusation that the veteran footballer drove his former girlfriend Kasia Lenhardt, whose body was found in 2021, to suicide. As a result, the Munich club turned down Boateng's request.
