Nice forwards Jeremi Boga and Terem Moffi have reportedly expressed their desire to leave the French club.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to RMC Sport that the players made this decision after an incident in which they were subjected to aggressive behavior from the team's fans.
The incident occurred after Nice's 3-1 defeat to Lorient. According to reports, approximately 400 fans arrived at the club's training base. The group initially demanded the resignation of head coach Frank Haise. The situation later escalated, and the aggression was directed at the players.
According to sources, dozens of fans physically and verbally attacked Moffi and Boga. The players were kicked, slapped, and spat on. The Ivorian and Nigerian forwards were also subjected to racist insults by the attacking fans.
Nice-Matin and RMC Sport confirm that after the incident, Jeremi Boga and Terem Moffi no longer want to play for Nice.
Terem Moffi has been playing for the "eagles" since the 2022/2023 season. Jeremi Boga joined the French club in the summer of 2023.
