PSV captain and Netherlands national team midfielder Jerdy Schouten has suffered a serious injury.
According to "Report", citing "Telegraaf.nl", he will be out of action for approximately 9 months.
The experienced midfielder, who injured his cruciate ligaments, will not participate in the World Cup to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico this summer.
It should be noted that this is the third serious cruciate ligament injury recorded in the Eindhoven team in recent times. Previously, Sergino Dest and Ruben van Bommel also faced the same problem.
