Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Jens Castrop has decided to change his citizenship and play for the South Korea national team.
Report reports with reference to the FIFA website that the 22-year-old football player was born in Düsseldorf, his father is German, and his mother is South Korean.
He previously played 4 matches for the German youth national team. The football player, who signed a contract with Borussia this summer, previously played for Nuremberg and Cologne.
It should be noted that the South Korean national team qualified for the final stage of the 2026 World Cup.
