"Hamburg" forward Jean-Luc Dompé has been suspended from training and matches by the club for disciplinary reasons.
According to Idman.Biz, citing the press service of the German club, the player was stopped by police on Sunday for an alcohol test.
The 30-year-old footballer's alcohol test came back positive.
According to the club's statement, Dompé was informed of the punishment on Thursday after an explanatory meeting with the management. A final decision on further measures against the player will be made after further internal consultations.
Dompé moved to "Hamburg" in 2022 from the Belgian club "Zulte-Waregem". Since then, he has played 107 matches for the German club and scored 17 goals.
