La Liga president Javier Tebas could be removed from his post for abuse of office. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by "AS".
Tebas is reportedly linked to a campaign offering 50 euros to anyone who reveals which bars are broadcasting football matches piratically.
He is also suspected of blackmailing. According to reports, La Liga pressured bar owners to pay compensation by threatening legal action. If Tebas is proven guilty, he could be fired.
It should be noted that in August 2025, the Spanish Higher Sports Council (CSD) launched an investigation accusing La Liga president Javier Tebas of systematically disclosing confidential information regarding "Barcelona's" internal operations.
