Javier Mascherano has decided to leave his position as head coach of Inter Miami.
Idman.Biz reports that the club's press service announced this on its X social media page.
"Javier Mascherano has decided to end his role as head coach. The champion, along with his staff, will forever remain a part of the Inter Miami family and will forever be associated with our first star," the Flamingos club said in a statement.
The Argentinian coach began managing Inter Miami in early 2025. His contract was valid until the end of 2027. Under his leadership, the team won the MLS Cup.
