Finnish football legend Jari Litmanen has returned to the green fields at the age of 55.
"Report" reports with reference to foreign media that he will play for the third team (IV division) of the Estonian club "Kalev".
The club in question is owned by Ragnar Klavan, the former defender of Liverpool (England) and the Estonian national team.
Litmanen had already played a few games for Kalev in October 2025 due to squad shortages. Interestingly, at that time the legendary footballer played on the field together with his teenage sons.
It should be noted that Litmanen, who played for clubs such as Ajax (Netherlands), Barcelona (Spain) and Liverpool (England) during his career, won the UEFA Champions League with the Amsterdam club in 1995. The midfielder, who played 137 matches for the Finnish national team, is considered the strongest football player in the country's history.
