Former Liverpool and England footballer Jamie Carragher has assessed the level of Arsenal striker Viktor Gyökeres.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to The Touchline that Carragher stated that the Swedish forward is not an ideal choice for the London club's future plans.
He said the following about the player's playing style:
"I don't think Gyökeres is a world-class striker or an ideal forward for Arsenal for the next five years. But I really like his mentality. He has no self-doubt: he just takes the ball and scores. In that respect, he has something of Alan Shearer in him."
In the current season, Gyökeres has been remembered with 15 goals and two assists. With 17 points, the Swedish forward is Arsenal's most productive player this season.
