Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher criticized midfielder Cody Gakpo and striker Mohamed Salah after the Reds' 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the 27th round of the English Premier League. The veteran footballer spoke to Sky Sports about this:
"Without a doubt, this was one of the biggest injustices I've seen in the Premier League this season. Rio Ngumo came on in the 77th minute and did more in 15 minutes than Gakpo and Salah did in the entire match. This guy changed the game. He should be in the starting lineup. Rio is really very good."
It should be noted that after 27 rounds, Liverpool, with 45 points, is in sixth place in the standings. Nottingham Forest has 27 points and is in 17th place.
