Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford is considering leaving the team this summer.
Report, citing TEAMtalk, reports that Aston Villa has joined the list of Premier League clubs interested in signing him.
Trafford, who was transferred from Burnley last summer with great expectations, lost his place in the starting lineup after the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma. It is reported that the 23-year-old goalkeeper, who is the Italian goalkeeper's substitute, is dissatisfied with the few chances he has received and wants to play regularly.
Currently, along with Aston Villa, Newcastle is also closely monitoring the situation of the English goalkeeper.
Trafford has participated in only 11 matches in all tournaments this season. The goalkeeper, who joined the Manchester team in 2025, signed a five-year contract with the club.
