A serious loss has occurred in the squad of the English club Tottenham. Sport24.az reports that James Maddison, the midfielder of the Europa League winner, is out.
The English footballer was injured in a friendly match against Newcastle. The 28-year-old player, who suffered a cruciate ligament injury, will be out of action for 6-7 months.
It should be noted that Tottenham transferred James Maddison from Leicester City in the summer of 2023. The member of the England national team scored 12 goals and 11 assists in 45 official matches for the London representative last season.
