"Qarabagh won the first match, but the score can be deceptive. Because Ferencváros is not a weak opponent."
These words were said by veteran goalkeeper Jahangir Hasanzadeh, who currently works as the technical director of AFFA, in his statement to Sport24.az.
He stated that he believes our representative will advance to the next stage in today's match:
"The result of the match in Hungary, 1:3, was not entirely according to the match. It could have been 2:3, 1:2. In that case, one goal could have solved a lot. This means that Ferencváros can take advantage of the goal opportunities they could not use in the first match in the second match. Qarabagh is a strong enough team. Regardless of the result, they have created conditions for themselves to advance to the next stage. The team's strength allows them to play with any opponent at any level. The match in Baku will be more difficult for Qarabagh. If we look at the game plan, Ferencváros should play more in attack. Qarabagh will have advantages because they have fast, well-thought-out counter-attacks and transitions. Again, the opponent's pressure will be on our representative. They can score at any moment. If a minimal victory remains until the end of the game, it will also be a great stress. After all this, I think Qarabagh will at worst draw and advance to the next stage."
It should be noted that the Qarabagh - Ferencváros match will start today at 20:45. In the first match between the teams in Hungary, the Aghdam representative won with a score of 3:1.
