Former goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national team, Jahangir Hasanzade, has resigned from his position as Technical Director of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA).
Jahangir Hasanzade, who returned from Bulgaria today with the U-21 national team, gave a statement to Idman.Biz regarding the issue.
"This was my last business trip in this position. I saw that the environment around me is not as friendly as before - so I wrote a letter of resignation. I thought it would be better for both me and AFFA. As they say, let's part ways amicably," said Jahangir Hasanzade.
