Ziemowit Deptula, the president of Polish club "Jagiellonia," spoke about the goals in European cups in the 2025/2026 season. Sport24.az reports with reference to the local "Wspolczesna" publication that the functionary made a statement about this.
He said that he is looking forward to the draw ceremony:
"Personally, I am not afraid of rivals from countries like the Faroe Islands and Azerbaijan, where I have never been. I am calmly waiting for the draw. Because we have to prepare as well as possible for each opponent. It will be a long and intense transfer window. Therefore, it would be better to start with a theoretically weaker opponent."
It should be noted that "Jagiellonia" is a potential rival of "Zira" and "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the II qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.
