Jack Grealish, the Everton midfielder whose transfer rights belong to Manchester City, has confessed that he hasn't enjoyed football as much in the last few years as he used to.
İdman.biz reports that Grealish stood out with two assists in the 2nd round of the Premier League match against Brighton.
The "Manchester Evening News" quoted Grealish as saying: "I think that over the last year or two, I've sometimes felt like I've lost my love for football – not completely, no, just I wasn't enjoying it as much as I should have been. My family was saying it to me at home. It was solely because of me, not anyone else.
But yes, I really do love football and I want to get that feeling back of waking up on match day morning buzzing to 'hurry up and get out there'. I got that feeling back today and hopefully it showed in my performance".
Grealish, who has been a member of Manchester City since 2021, will spend the 2025/2026 season on loan at Everton.
