English striker Ivan Toney of Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli club has revealed why he doesn't want to leave the team.
It should be reminded that previously, several clubs of the English Premier League, as well as Turin's Juventus, had tried to include the football player in their squad.
Idman.Biz reports that the 29-year-old striker said in a statement to the Daily Mirror that it is not easy to score goals in the Saudi Arabian football league.
"I feel that everything is going well for me right now, and if I continue to score in Saudi Arabia, my chances of making it to the World Cup, which may be the only one for me, will increase even more. It's not easy to score in this league, it's difficult. But playing in such a team gives me a chance," said Toney.
In the current season, the 29-year-old striker has appeared in 28 games in all tournaments, scored 26 goals and provided 8 assists.
It should be reminded that the 2026 World Cup will be held next summer in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
