Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli club's English striker Ivan Toney was detained in an expensive bar in London.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that the incident started after a group of young people sitting at the bar recognized the famous guest. A witness to the incident said that one of the young people tried to put his arm around Toney's neck to take a selfie with him. The footballer reacted harshly to this and said "Get off me". The situation immediately escalated and turned into a confrontation. During the fight, Toney headbutted one of the young men.
The victim bled from the nose and was later diagnosed with a nasal fracture.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed the call regarding the incident and noted that doctors examined three people, one of whom was taken to hospital with injuries. Police reported that a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of two assault and one fight episodes, but was later released on bail pending further investigation. According to law enforcement agencies, the victim's injuries are not life-threatening.
It should be noted that Ivan Toney recently moved from the English club Brentford to the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli. His transfer fee is estimated at 40 million pounds.
