Idman.Biz reports that on March 31, the national teams of Bosnia and Italy will meet in the final play-off stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
According to the publication, during the training of the Balkan national team, a soldier approached the fence and began filming the event on his phone. The Italian was quickly spotted and detained. The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina then filed a complaint with the EUFOR mission.
In the semi-final play-off stage, Italy defeated Northern Ireland 2:0, and Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Wales 1:1 (4:2 on penalties).
