The president of the Italian Football Federation, Gabriele Gravina, has expressed concern about the country's preparations for hosting the 2032 European Championship.
Idman.biz reminds that Italy and Turkey will host this tournament.
"Italy is lagging behind. In the last 15 years, we have only built or renovated 6 stadiums. In France, this number is 12, and in Turkey it is 33.
"EURO 2032" is a unique opportunity to upgrade stadiums, but we risk missing it. We need modern arenas and government support. Private enterprises are ready to help, but the procedure itself needs to be simplified. Without a commissioner with special powers to speed up the process, we risk missing this great opportunity," said Gravina.
