Former Palestinian national team footballer Suleiman Al-Obeid has died as a result of an Israeli attack. Sport24.az reports that the press service of the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) has released information about this. Suleiman is survived by his wife, two sons, and three daughters.
According to the source, Al-Obeid died while waiting for humanitarian aid in the southern Gaza Strip. It is also reported that Suleiman became the 321st Palestinian footballer to die as a result of Israeli attacks since October 2023.
It should be noted that the 41-year-old veteran footballer played in the Palestinian championship, including Gaza clubs, during his career. He played 19 matches for the Palestinian national team and scored 2 goals.
