"My biggest goal right now is to rise to the main team of "Red Star Belgrade".
These words were said by Islam Hasanov, a member of the Azerbaijani national team of under-19 football players, who plays for the U-19 team of the Serbian club "Red Star Belgrade".
He said that the Belgrade representative is the leader in the league.
"Our chances of becoming champions are high. We want to win the title and compete in European competitions. Besides me, there are two Nigerian players in the team. My coaches tell me that I have to work hard to become a good football player. Of course, I do my best for this. Currently, there are players born in 2008 in the main team. Playing in big clubs is everyone's dream. But everything doesn't happen with desire, you have to work hard," he said in an interview with AZERTAC.
It should be noted that Islam Hasanov moved to "Red Star Belgrade" from "Sabah". In 2023, he became the top scorer of the AFFA U-15 League with 76 goals in the Baku club.
