Elections to the governing body of the organization were held at the fifth reporting and election conference of the Regional Football Federations (RFF).
According to Idman.Biz, veteran of Azerbaijani football Iskandar Javadov was re-elected president of the RFF for the next four years.
The Idman.Biz editorial office congratulated Javadov, who was the legendary captain of "Neftchi" in the 80s of the last century, on his appointment and inquired about the organization's plans for the new era.
"Thank you for all the congratulations. We all understand that the regions are a large field of work. Our main goal is the development of children's and youth football. It is necessary to support infrastructure and talents in places where football is more popular. We must make maximum efforts to help the younger generation in regions such as Barda, Tovuz, Mingachevir, Sabirabad," said Iskandar Javadov.
It should be noted that Iskandar Javadov has been leading the Regional Football Federations since 2008.
