Swedish footballer Alexander Isak has returned to Newcastle's club base after a long absence.
Idman.biz reports that the 25-year-old striker boycotted his club, refused to train, and did not participate in the Asian tour due to his desire to continue his career in another team.
He ignored Newcastle's pre-season preparations and trained at the base of the Spanish club Real Sociedad, where he previously played.
Following an unsuccessful boycott, Isak arrived at Newcastle's base and trained alone on the field for three hours.
It is reported that Liverpool offered 120 million euros for Isak, but Newcastle refused.
It should be noted that he played 42 games at the club level in the 2024/25 season, scored 27 goals and provided 6 assists.
