"Qarabag" goalkeeper Fabian Buntic is considering leaving the club. Sport24.az has received information about this from a reliable source.
The reason for this is that the 28-year-old goalkeeper has had few opportunities to play this season.
He has participated in only one match in the 2025/2026 season. Buntic played 90 minutes in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, which they won (3:0) against Shelbourne in Ireland. Interestingly, after that, Pole Mateusz Kochalski took a place in the starting "11" in the return match in Baku and became almost the indispensable goalkeeper of the "stallions".
Qarabag's other goalkeeper, Azerbaijani national team member Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev, has appeared in only two official matches this season.
It should be noted that Fabian Buntic was brought to the team in 2024 from the Portuguese club "Vizela".
