Iranian national team striker Sara Didar could not hold back tears while answering journalists' questions. She stated that they are worried about their families and loved ones, but hope to hear good news for their country.
The team's head coach, Marzieh Jafari, said that although the players are worried about their families, they are trying to focus on the tournament. She said, "No one likes war, but we came here to play professional football," emphasizing that they will do their best to please Iranian fans in Australia.
It should be noted that the Iranian national team, which lost its first group match to South Korea with a score of 0:3, will face the host Australia on March 5.
