Former Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has commented on his name being linked with the Italian national team. Sport24.az reports that the specialist, who currently manages Al Hilal, said the following in a statement to his country's press:
"Everything satisfies me in Saudi Arabia. The infrastructure, the lifestyle is pleasant. My name being linked with the Italian national team? I don't need money. I regret that our national team could not qualify for the World Cup. But I am sure that Italian football will revive again.
I am currently managing Al Hilal and I am happy here. It is nice that my name is being linked with the national team. But my contract with the club has not expired yet."
The Italian national team parted ways with head coach Gennaro Gattuso a few days ago.
