- The coaching staff has made a great contribution to the results we have achieved. Thanks to this, both the team and our coaches are happy. I am satisfied with the team and the coaches. The victories we have won show the work we did before the season. That's why we are currently the leaders in the championship with two consecutive victories and 6 points after the first 2 rounds.
- Will it be possible to continue the successful performance in the next round against "Shamakhi"?
- Of course, we would like to win in front of our home fans in the next round. We are hopeful about this. We will work harder in training during the week and want to win in the next round as well.
- What is your goal for the current season in general?
- The main goal is to secure places that give access to European cups. However, if we progress successfully and at this pace, we can achieve our desire. Why not?
- What has changed in "Sumgayit" after Sasha Ilic's arrival?
- To be honest, the team's self-confidence has increased significantly. We work hard, especially in the defense zone, where the coach does special work. Indeed, the team understands what the coach wants to do, and as a result, we have won two consecutive victories. I hope we will continue this series in the next round.
