- I have been suffering from an injury for a long time. This period was very difficult for me, because I was injured in Turkey before the season. Now I feel better, my self-confidence is returning. This is a great motivation for me.
- I also scored a goal today. What can you say about that?
- Yes. I scored, but we lost, which is not good. But from a personal point of view, it was important for me to return to the field and score a goal.
- You lost to this opponent by five unanswered goals in the first round. Today you saw five goals in your own net again. What is the problem?
- I don't know. We came to the away game to win points, maybe a 1:1 draw, maybe a win. But the game developed differently. I think the score was 3:0 in the first half and it continued like that after that. We didn't want that, but it happened.
- Do you think there is still a chance to qualify for the European Cups?
- Yes, I think we still have a chance. Because the management, especially Zaur muellim (Akhundov), has built this team better than last year. I think we have a better quality squad, more good players now. Both the club and we want to go to Europe. There is still time. But the main thing is to stay together. If we can't be together, the situation will become very difficult later.
- The media often writes about your head coach Elmar Bakhshiyev. It is said that he will leave the club in the winter. The news was also published on the day of the game. Does this affect the players?
- Yes, yes. This is not good for us. Because we are legionnaires, we don't know exactly what is happening inside the country. Local players sometimes tell us something, but we don't know what is written in the press in general. We don't know who is staying, who is leaving. We have no idea about anything.
- When "Araz-Nakhchivan" played in the European Cups, many thought that the team could also play for the championship. Now you are out of the European Cup zone. What was the reason for this?
- I don't know, because I wasn't playing at that time, I was just watching the team. The team was playing very beautiful football, performing at a high level. Football is like that: sometimes you rise, sometimes you fall. Maybe everything will be better after winter. I hope so.
- Is there faith in this within the team?
- We hope that we will finish the championship in the higher places again, as we did last season.
