"Qarabağ"'s Brazilian midfielder, Pedro Bikalyo, is on the transfer list of the Greek club "AEK Athens".
İdman.Biz reports that, according to European sources, the Athens club has been closely monitoring the 24-year-old footballer since last summer. "AEK"'s scouting department has prepared a detailed report based on Bikalyo's performances both in the Azerbaijan Premier League and in European tournaments.
It is reported that the interest in the player's transfer is real in the "AEK" management. It is noted that the club's Serbian head coach has approved this transfer and that it is planned to send an official offer immediately after the end of the season. The Athens representative intends to speed up the process in order to overtake other European clubs. According to sources, the prospect of playing at the OPAP Arena stadium is attractive to Bikalyo.
However, some reports claim that the footballer is not currently among AEK's main candidates for midfield. However, his name remains a high priority in the summer transfer plans.
It should be noted that Pedro Bikalyo joined "Qarabağ" last summer from the Portuguese club "Alverca" as a free agent. His contract with the club is valid until June 2028. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the player's market value is 1.5 million euros (approximately 3 million AZN). In the current season, Bikalyo has appeared in 16 matches in the Premier League and made two productive passes.
