Italian club Inter showed the best result in the current season of the UEFA Champions League.

The team, coached by Simone Inzaghi, experienced its only failure in the match against German club Bayer 04 in the VI round of the League stage of the tournament. The Milan representative lost this match with a score of 0:1.
