"Inter" has reached an agreement for the transfer of Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji, who is currently playing for them on loan. The Milanese club will buy the Swiss footballer's transfer rights for 15 million euros (28 million AZN).
Idman.Biz reports, citing insider Nicolo Schira's post on social media, that the player's contract includes a mandatory buyout clause if "Inter" becomes champion. However, the "nerazzurri" management has decided to formalize this transfer regardless of the championship. According to the new agreement, Akanji will wear the Milanese colors until the end of the 2027/2028 season. His annual salary will be 3.75 million euros (6.7 million AZN).
It should be noted that Akanji has scored 2 goals in 33 matches in all tournaments this season.
