"Inter" forward Ange-Yoan Bonny will change sports citizenship and represent the Ivory Coast national team internationally. Sport24.az reports that insider Fabrizio Romano shared this on his "X" social network account.
The 22-year-old forward was born in France but is of Ivorian origin. He previously played for France's youth and under-21 national teams.
Bonny transferred to Inter last summer for 23 million euros after a brilliant performance for Parma last season.
The forward has played 37 games in all tournaments for the Nerazzurri, scoring 7 goals and providing 7 assists.
It should be noted that the Ivory Coast national team has qualified for the World Cup to be held in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. The team is in Group E together with Germany, Ecuador, and Curacao.
