On Tuesday, a new record was set in Milan during the Champions League semi-final second leg match between "Inter" and "Barcelona". Sport24.az, citing "Corriere dello Sport", reports that 75,504 spectators (4,253 of them in the away stands) watched the match at the stadium.
It is estimated that the club earned approximately 14.7 million euros from ticket sales. This is the largest amount ever collected for a game held in Italy.
It should be noted that the previous record was set in 2023 in the Champions League semi-final second leg. At that time, the "Nerazzurri" earned 12.5 million euros from ticket sales in the Milan derby.
