The format of the Turkish Cup will be changed from the next season. Sport24.az reported this with reference to the press service of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).
The cup will start with 5 qualifying rounds. Clubs competing in the lower leagues will join the fight first. Then the 1/8 finals, 1/4 finals, semi-finals and final matches will be held. The previous stages will consist of one game, and the semi-final will consist of two matches.
It should be noted that in the current format of the cup, qualifying stages are held, and then 24 teams compete in 3 groups. Based on the results of 4 rounds, the teams that take the first two places in the groups and the best 2 teams that take the 3rd place advance to the 1/4 finals.
