Former Barcelona and Spain player Andrés Iniesta has reacted to the news that Spanish midfielder Sergio Busquets will end his career at the end of the current season in MLS. Idman.biz reports that Busquets currently plays for Inter Miami.
Iniesta wrote on his social media page: "It was a pleasure to share the field with you all these years, brother. Enjoy this time! What a joy it was! You are undoubtedly one of the greatest players in football history. You had a unique style of play that will remain forever in our memories. I wish you all the best in everything that lies ahead."
Since starting his great career in 2008, Busquets has played for Barcelona. In the summer of 2023, after 15 seasons with the Catalans, he signed a contract with Inter Miami. Busquets has played 143 matches for the Spanish national team, scored 2 goals and made 9 assists.
