FIFA President Gianni Infantino has commented on the armed clashes taking place in Mexico a few months before the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that the World Championship will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico in the summer.
"Today I had a wonderful conversation with the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum.
I reaffirmed our complete confidence in the host country and look forward to holding all the games there that will be part of the most ambitious and inclusive World Cup in history," said the FIFA president.
