No footballer will wear the number 30 for Marseille anymore.
Idman.Biz reports that "30" was the number of goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, who ended his career in September.
The French goalkeeper has played the most games (613) for Marseille.
As a sign of respect for his memory, the club also announced that it has permanently retired the number "30", which Mandanda wore throughout his career. The club also held a special ceremony before the game with "Havr" for this reason.
Mandanda won the French championship (2010), three consecutive French League Cups (2010, 2011, 2012) and two French Super Cups (2010, 2011) with Marseille.
