Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has made impressive remarks about forward Mohamed Salah, who is expected to leave the team in the summer.
Idman.Biz reports that the Dutch footballer stated that his teammate plays a big role both on and off the field.
"We will still talk a lot about Salah in the coming weeks. He is very important to us both on and off the field. Sometimes we only really appreciate football players after they leave the team, but we already appreciate him now. Salah is an incredible teammate, we have experienced a lot together. We also need him in the next five games. Later, there will be an emotional moment for Salah and his family, it will be like that for all of us. He has played a big role in my life, the team's and the fans' lives. But first we have to do our job, he knows that too - that's the main thing," said van Dijk.
