Spanish giant football club "Real Madrid" and "Apple" have started collaborating on a new project that could revolutionize the world of football.
Idman.Biz reports that the "Infinity Bernabeu" initiative aims to fundamentally change the way football content is watched with the help of augmented and virtual reality technologies.
One of the main directions of the project is immersive broadcasting. "Immersive broadcasting" is a broadcasting format that aims to make the viewer feel inside the event, not just watching the game.
"Apple" plans to use its technologies, including the "Apple Vision Pro" device, to give fans the full feeling of "being in the game". Thanks to this technology, viewers will be able to watch the match as if from the stands of the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium or directly from the field.
In addition, the project envisages ultra-high-quality filming. For this, it is planned to use "Blackmagic Design" cameras that can capture images in 8K 3D format and at a speed of 90 frames per second. This will raise the image detail to a completely new level.
"Infinity Bernabeu" also aims to increase the interactivity of the stadium. The updated arena can become one of the most technological sports venues in the world by being deeply integrated with "Apple" services.
The global implementation of the project is expected to begin in 2026.
