"Imishli" will appeal if they face a technical defeat in the IV round of the Misli Premier League game against "Sumgayit" for fielding a football player whose name was not on the protocol.

Aqshin Mursalov, the executive director of the regional club, said this in an interview with "Report".

He commented on the unpleasant incident as follows:

The club official blamed himself for the situation:

"In any case, the responsibility belongs to me. The protocol is prepared and comes to me at the very end, and I approve it after looking at it. I repeat, such a thing should not have happened. If it happened, I think it should be approached fairly. This did not happen on purpose. Moreover, that football player has no punishment. He was simply not included in the list by mistake."

It should be noted that "Imishli" won 1:0 against "Sumgayit". However, because the Aran representative fielded a football player whose name was not on the protocol - Ibrahim Aliyev, the AFFA Disciplinary Committee will give them a 0:3 technical defeat.
