"Garadagh Lokbatan" opened the scoring after a dubious penalty decision.
"Report" informs that this was stated by the head coach of "Imishli" Jorge Casquilha in his statement to the club's press service after the game with "Garadagh Lokbatan", which they faced in the II qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup.
He commented on the victory they won:
"It was a real cup match. Our team started the match well, we created two real scoring opportunities in the early stages, but we could not take advantage of them. The opponent opened the scoring with a penalty awarded after a very dubious decision. This episode created some tension in the team and we had difficulty maintaining our composure for a while. Although we tried to equalize before the break, we failed. The changes we made in the second half brought a new breath to the game. There were many scoring opportunities created, but the ball seemed to not want to enter the goal for a while. Nevertheless, we fought to the end and won 3:2, qualifying for the next stage."
