– What are your thoughts on the course of the game against "Sumgayit" in Guba?
– We knew that the match would be difficult. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in the protocol, and most likely, our team will be given a technical defeat. Nevertheless, we fought well. You also saw the condition of the field. I thank all the guys – we managed to win in a difficult field, in a difficult game. The main thing for us was the victory, I put everything related to the result aside.
– Can this situation demotivate you?
– I hope it won't affect us psychologically. This is really a difficult issue. I guess we'll forget about it in 2-3 days and prepare for the next game with a new mindset.
– When did you find out about this issue?
– I found out when Idris Inqilabli entered the field. He said that there was a mistake in the protocol. I asked during the game, but the tension was high, I didn't fully understand. He explained everything clearly during the break, and after the game I realized that there was a mistake.
– Wasn't the condition of the field disturbing?
– I agree, it bothers me a lot. Before the game, the head coach and the team had discussed that the rain would make the situation increasingly difficult. There was very little to see in the name of football.
– Would you choose Shamakhi city stadium compared to the stadium of Guba Olympic Sports Complex?
– Frankly, I would choose Shamakhi. There you can do what you want on the field. Here it was even difficult to stand up.
– Will you be rewarded?
– Our President Kamran Eyyubov came to the game, he really wanted the victory. He did not say anything specific about the award, but said that everything would be fine and no one should be discouraged. This victory was very important because we have to show what we are capable of in the next games.
