Imad Faraj is the most hoped-for player among Neftchi's summer transfers.
Idman.biz reports that the Moroccan and Algerian-origin French winger, who was transferred from AEK Larnaca in July, has not yet fully lived up to expectations.
The 26-year-old winger spoke about his game in an interview with Sportinfo.az:
"Many players and I have joined the team recently. If only one or two new players had arrived, the adaptation process would not take much time. However, we are talking about more than 10 transfers. We need time to get to know each other well on the field.
What each player will do in what situation, what others should expect when I have the ball - these kinds of things are very important in football and it is a time-consuming job. Moreover, I have returned from a long-term injury, I am not 100 percent ready.
Every game that passes is good for me. I think I will be more effective after this. I myself am looking forward to making our fans happy."
The football player, who defended the honor of the French U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 national teams, scored 23 goals in 158 matches and made the same number of assists in AEK Larnaca, where he played for 4 years before coming to Neftchi.
