The Ukrainian national team will host the Azerbaijani team in Poland as part of the 4th round of the DÇ-2026 qualifying stage. Sport24.az reports that "blue-yellow" player Ilya Zabarnyi noted this at the press conference held before the match:
"At this level, there can be no talk of any underestimation. All national teams know how to defend and play football. Personally, for me, there can be no talk of any underestimation. I, like the whole team, know what needs to be done.
Of course, drawing with Azerbaijan (the first game) is disappointing, but these things happen. In principle, nothing has changed, we have the same team. We are preparing for a difficult game and want to win."
