It is interesting that two Azerbaijani football players play together in a foreign club.
This was stated to "Report" by Azerbaijani player Ilkin Muradov, who was transferred to the Kyrgyz club "Abdysh-Ata".
He stated that the transfer to the current national champion would be beneficial for his career:
"When the Premier League in Azerbaijan ended, the first half of the season in the Kyrgyz championship was not over yet. There was an option regarding my transfer to Abdysh-Ata. We were just waiting for the first half of the season to end so we could start negotiations. I didn't want to miss the opportunity to play in another country. The team is fighting for high places. Abdysh-Ata is the current national champion. To be honest, I found out about Mirabdulla Abbasov's transfer later. I didn't know beforehand. I learned the details completely after going to Kyrgyzstan. It is interesting that two Azerbaijani football players play together in a foreign club."
It should be noted that Abdysh-Ata previously added another Azerbaijani football player, Mirabdulla Abbasov, to its squad. The team is currently in fifth place in the Kyrgyz championship with 25 points.
