"The result before the winter break cannot satisfy us. At the beginning of the season, we wanted to gather a good team and fight for the top spots." These words were said by MOIK's head coach Ilham Yadullayev in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 48-year-old expert spoke about his team's preparation plans during the winter break:
"Unfortunately, there were unsuccessful results from the first round. At the beginning of the season, three of our important players suffered long-term injuries, which inevitably negatively affected the team's results. We played dominant football in every game, but there was bad luck. We must also take into account that the team is newly formed. We were able to improve our results during the break. We only lost to the leader "Shafa" in the last round. The winter training camp plan is ready. We will start training in Baku on January 8. We will try to invite new players to the team. We have planned selection-based games and training. The opponents are unknown. We can hold 3-4 test matches before the championship starts."
It should be noted that after the XII round, MOIK with 14 points in its active is in the 6th place of the tournament table.
